History of Radio Veritas 

Radio Veritas Apostolate is considered a very important segment of our Catholic broadcasting especially in the Sri Lanka situation where we use much air time for the propagation of the Catholic life in the country. We admit though we have been in the production of Radio Veritas programmes over a long time the 2012 experience starting from January  has given us an opportunity to look at veritas programmes in a different and a very realistic way. We are convinced that the programmes that were produced 10 – 15 years ago have taken a different turn. The modern technology has brought about a revolution in the minds of the individuals, among the youth and  society at large. Today our thinking patterns have changed considerably. Our outlook to life has changed. It has become necessary that we identify these realities with rightful understanding. I must admit as we were entrusted with the production of 2 half hour programmes locally, it was challenging but we took up the challenge and from day one, with a few drawbacks here and there we achieved much. Todate we have improved in our ways and quality- wise we are placed in a better position.
